FAQ

are my pieces food safe?

absolutely, yes! unless otherwise noted for a particular piece

How to care for my handmade piece?

Your new piece is microwave, oven, and top-shelf dishwasher safe.

The characteristic beauty of ceramics is its subtle variations of shade, color, texture and size. Color and thickness variations are inherent characteristics of handmade products. None of these variances are to be considered deficient.

note: do not put this pottery over an open flame

how to start a custom order?

please feel free to message me below in the contact section or message me through instagram. if you have a particular project in mind, please include:

  • name/contact email

  • approximate dimensions

  • type of piece and if applicable, ascetic/style

  • preferred payment (zelle, venmo, square)

that way i can draft you an invoice for your approval.

What’s the pottery process?

These wheel thrown and hand built pots are hand crafted, air dried, bisqued, glazed, and fired.

Along the process, additions can be made to pieces, such as handles, carving, attachments. Many times, the process can be sped up or slowed down depending on weather. High humidity slows the process while hot, dry days help pieces evaporate quicker.

This is a patient, careful, and rewarding process I hope you will also enjoy.

Why is custom lead time so long?

Pottery is a process heavy practice. To ensure all pieces are well tended to, the lead time is 8 weeks and allows for giving undivided attention to each piece.
